Target Beach Bag

Hihi.  I needed to stop by Target yesterday for some essentials.  I love how they put all the lovely spring colored vacation items right when you walk into the store.  It always makes me want to go on a beach vacation.  I spotted this blue ombre beach bag and was immediately wishing I was on a beach somewhere.  I also found the perfect beach cover up from American Eagle.  As you should have realized by now....I'm obsessed with white and I'm always looking for the perfect white shirt no matter the occasion.  A beach vacation is no exception.  What else are you going to throw over your bikini?  I'm not one for crazy floral prints.

On a brighter note, I will be going on vacation......just not to a beach.   I'll be heading to the east coast to visit NY and DC.  I'm super excited to visit family and eat!

Happy Wednesday!

Instagram Update

 [Happy Hour]

 [Daffodils]

Hihi.  I thought I'd share my outfits from the week. I might be having a legging moment.  Last week I "broke" my toe so I just wanted to be as comfortable as possible at work.

Sweater: Lush (pink and grey) H and M (white)
Leggings: Target
Tank: Target
Shoes: Converse and Dolce Vita
Ring: Forever21
Watch: Marc Jacobs
Purse: Vintage Louis Vuitton

A few years ago I lost this turquoise Tiffany's ring that my aunt gave me for Christmas.  I'm still totally devastated about it and try to find replacement rings all the time.  I found this ring at Forever 21 for like $3 that is temporarily filling the void of my missing Tiffany ring.  The Louis Vuitton is older than I am.  My mom said she used to use it as my diaper bag.  I have temporarily inherited it.  I love how old it is and how the leather has turned this lovely brown color.  The Dolce Vita's are super cute but are a killer.  I always try to find cute flats to wear to work, but I never find any that are comfortable.  These Dolce Vita's are no exception.  I wear them on days I know I won't be running around.

Happy Monday!

Hihi.  For my last outfit with the fab Zara heels I decided to do a look for a night out on the town! How insane is this skirt?  The leather bralette is also killing me.  I'm loving high waisted skirts/shorts/pants with bralettes.  I plan on making it a regular in my spring wardrobe.  The slouchy 3.1 Phillip Lim handbag situation is really interesting to me.  I first spotted it in white and have since been obsessed with it.  The metallic gold is a nice trick.

You can check out my other two looks here and here!

Happy Friday!!

Hihi.  Since I've been obsessing over these Zara chunky heels, I thought I would do three different looks with them.  Jeans and a T-shirt is my all time go to outfit.  Throwing on these heels just adds some flavor to the look.  I love sheer collared shirts with jean shorts.  It's been warming up here in LA and I can't wait to pull out my spring/summer shirts and shorts! Which reminds me.  I need a tan.

P.s my toe hurts. (If you don't know what I'm talking about see here)

Hihi.  I am really into these slouchy pants.  They seem so comfortable and look great with strappy sandals.  I think its a clean spring look.  There are some really fun patterned slouchy pants popping up everywhere.   I am also into the chunky heeled strappy sandals.  I think its a nice variation.

Also, this weekend I broke my toe. Hate life.  Hope this doesn't mean I have to stop wearing heels forever.......

Cheers to starting off my week on the right foot!

Louis Vuitton Fall 2013

Louis Vuitton Fall 2013

Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 by losangelesbrunette on Polyvore

Hihi.  Yesterday, I finally watched the Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 runway show.  There were so many gorgeous pieces.  The fur speedy killed me.  I loved how every outfit was complete with matching bag and shoes.  My favorite piece was the navy lace dress.  I loved how everything was embellished with fur or sequins or lace!  Hope you like my picks.

Happy Friday!

Work Out Wednesday

Work out Wednesday

Lululemon Street To Studio Jacket
Forever 21 neon top
Lululemon Wunder Under Crop
Nike shorts
Lululemon yoga mat
Nike Free Run 3

Hihi.  Lately, I’ve been having this urge to workout and be healthy/fit.  It might be because summer is around the corner.  Or it might be because I went to Lululemon to try on some work out clothes and there were wayyyyy too many mirrors in that dressing room. Maybe, this interest in working out came from Lululemon’s new spring collection.  Who knows?

Here are some of the items I have been obsessing over.  I bought a pair of Nike Free Run sneakers last year and they are honestly the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn.  They are super light and come in millions of fabulous color combinations.  I am really into the yellow and gray Nike’s and they match perfectly with the yellow Lululemon Street To Studio Jacket!  The jacket is light, but keeps you surprisingly warm (and its waterproof).  I wouldn’t say that I am a professional yogi, but if I was I would definitely buy this bubble gum pink yoga mat.

Almost Spring!

Almost Spring!

Topshop dress
McQ by Alexander McQueen patent leather shoes
Reed Krakoff handbag save here
J.Crew j crew bangle
J.Crew bangle bracelet
Linda Farrow Luxe cateye sunglasses save here

Hihi.  The inspiration for this outfit came from the amazing weather we had this weekend.  It was so nice and warm here in LA that I wore shorts this weekend and realized how desperately I need a tan!  I'm really into this orange color that's been popping up everywhere for spring.  I might be the last person to have discovered topshop, but i love this dress I found on their website.  I also found a similar version of the Reed Krakoff handbag on their website.  I add similar items that I find for cheap because I know everyone out there can't spend $1000 on a handbag....including me.  But I do think there are certain items you must splurge on, like shoes. I'm all about wearing forever21 head to toe, because you can make an outfit from there look like a million bucks.  But I do think you drop the ball when you don't have a good quality shoe to tie everything together. That's just my theory and reason for not finding a cheaper version of the Alexander McQueen heels!

Also, this weekend I tried Fonuts for the first time.  My friend Megan from Scott Sister Style was telling me all about it so I was in the area and decided to give it a try.  I'm not going to lie I was a little let down by the red velvet fonut I tried.  It just didn't taste like what I wanted it too.  But the chocolate hazelnut was really yummy!

What do you think of fonuts?
