Hihi.  I've been wanting these metallic gold Sperry's for 100 years now.  I refused to pay $98 at J.Crew plus shipping.  I have been watching their site like a hawk to see if the shoes go on sale.  I was so excited when I got an email saying 30% off plus free shipping!! Great deal right? No. The shoes didn't qualify for the discount.  I decided to forget about them when I was at the mall and decided to just go check them out.  I tried them on and decided F. it i'll just buy it.  The lady helping me said if you're a student you get 15% off.  Since I look like I'm 16 I just said yes.  Then at the register she started ringing me up and the shoes were on sale!!!!!!!! And she gave me the 15% OFF! I was just as confused as the sales lady.  I grabbed my shoes and peaced out.

When I told my mom and sister what I bought they decided to buy the same shoes.  So we went back to J. Crew and got 3 pairs of the same shoes (rolling eyes).  Life would be so much better if we were all the same size....

While we were attacking the sales lady asking her to grab every possible size shoe for my mom and sister I pulled this pink chambray (blogging has taught me new words) from the sale section.  I think J. Crew's clothes have a weird fit.  Or maybe I have a weird body.  Either way usually their stuff doesn't work out for me, but this shirt did.  So I got it.

Hihi.  With mother's day just around the corner, I thought it would be appropriate to make a gift guide for y'all.  I think flowers for mom is the best option.  I guess it depends on what your mom likes, but I know my mom would take flowers over anything else.  I don't know why, but when it comes to gifts for mom I always think of PJ's.  I've been wanting these JCrew pajamas for myself, but I think it would be a good mother's day gift as well.  I was at Nordstroms this weekend and I saw this gorgeous YSL purse.  If this purse is in your budget I think its the perfect chic handbag for mom.  Dogeared makes dainty necklaces with sweet sayings.  They have some really cute necklaces for mom.  I like this pearl necklace that they have and it has a sweet message too.  My mom has been obsessed with getting a vintage tea set.  I haven't been able to find a reasonably priced set.  Anyone know of a place?

Last weekend I decided to check out Lemonade.  I've been wanting to try it out, but never made the trip out.  It's a cute little cafe with lots of yummy salads. Everything tasted fresh and their lemonades were sooo good.  I got the cucumber mint lemonade after trying every single flavor.  I feel like its the perfect place to grab something to eat on a hot day.  I hope this gloomy weather disappears!  I need more weekends like this.
